How about this one? "Alcohol has an effect on your driving."
Correct or wrong? Ha ha what's the answer?
Until next time
A confusing word pair: "Affect" (verb) vs. "Effect" (noun) (Usually!). We see this error a lot in our edits. When you type affect or affected try substitute influence and see if it still makes sense. For example, “My parents have had a great affect (influence) on my life."
