Rewritten first paragraph
Creative tourism is a step on from cultural tourism. If cultural tourism could be defined as the experience of visiting somewhere to observe local art, music, handicrafts, cuisine and so forth, creative tourism is going further than just observing. A creative vacation will involve learning a skill or art from the country or region visited to get a hands-on experience. It could be cooking authentic Thai food, making umbrellas, caring for elephants, living on an organic farm, learning traditional Thai massage or a myriad of other activities. For me, a holiday is not just for relaxation, but it also can be an opportunity to gain a new vision of places we have never been to before. This way we can explore new lifestyles and different cultures. However, we should seek to understand the differences in cultures and respect and help maintain both community and normal traditions of those places as much as we can. We can travel creatively and do more than just observe.
